AMALTEO, Pomponio


AMALTEO, Pomponio. Italian painter born in Motta di Livenza 1505, and died San Vito, March 9, 1588. He wa a pupil and son-in-law of Pordenone, whose style he closely imitated. he painted chiefly frescoes and altarpieces.
